Challenger 600
In 1976 the Challenger 600 was designed by Lear. The Challenger was first named the LearStar 600 but lear sold the rights to Canadair who then named it the CL 600 Challenger.
Although the Challenger was simiular to the Learjets there were changes made like . the use of a widened fuselage that allowed a 'walk-about cabin', a feature not shared by any other business aircraft of the time and allowed the Challenger 600 to be set apart from the crowd.
